Handmade Pasta Make and Take

  • Teaching Table 12 Noel Drive Ossining USA (map)

Have you always wanted to learn how to make your own pasta? Are you shocked at the price of fresh gourmet pastas? Want to elevate pasta night by 400%? Need a therapeutic (and productive) activity to entertain your mind?

Learn how to make your own pasta from scratch in an all-ages virtual cooking workshop. You'll have the chance to make two kinds of pasta dough and learn how to roll and cut it into various shapes such as fettucine, cavatelli, farfalle, pappardelle, orecchiette, and strozzapreti. Learn to make dough both with and without eggs and then choose the best shapes for each type of dough. The workshop also covers discussions on pairing sauces with pasta shapes, as well as the origin stories of those shapes. Please note that this workshop does not include a meal; you'll take your fresh pasta home. We will instruct you on how to cook it, and store it for future use.

For ages 12 and up. Youth ages 12-16 must be with an adult.

$80 per person. This is an in-person class at Teaching Table. Space is limited.
