Kids Summer Cooking Intensive - Wrapped and Rolled Foods

Kids love wrapping presents and their foods. Did you know that ravioli comes from the Italian riavvolgere, which means "to wrap"?

In this Summer Cooking Intensive, kids will embark on a culinary adventure around the world. They will explore and make their own versions of popular wrapped and rolled foods from a variety of ethnic cuisines, plus dessert each day (some of which are also wrapped!).

This Summer Cooking Intensive will provide them with hours of hands-on engagement, expand their cultural knowledge, and build their culinary tool belt.

Choose from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or all 4 days!

Monday: Asia — Vegetarian Sushi Rolls, Dumplings & Fortune Cookies - 1 SPOT LEFT

Tuesday: Mediterranean - Stuffed Grape Leaves, Handmade Ravioli & Dessert Crepes - 1 SPOT LEFT

Wednesday: Southeast Asia — Summer Rolls, Vietnamese Bahn Xeo & Mango Sorbet - 1 SPOT LEFT

Thursday: Latin America — Breakfast Burritos, Empanadas & Watermelon Paletas (ice pops) - 2 SPOTS LEFT

Notes to parents:

  • Menu subject to change.

  • Schedule is 9:00-2:30 daily.

  • This fully supervised 5 1/2-hr cooking workshop is a drop-off program.

  • Ages 6-10 years old.

  • Lunch and snack is included. We eat what we make.

  • You can register your child for the entire intensive (Monday - Thursday) or select 1, 2 or 3 of the 4 days. Please indicate preferred days in the form below.

$115 per student daily or $435 for all 4 days (save $25 when registering for the whole intensive). Each student will also receive a youth-sized apron and recipe booklet to take home.
