Kids love wrapping presents and their foods. Did you know that ravioli comes from the Italian riavvolgere, which means "to wrap"? In this Summer Cooking Intensive, kids aged 6-12 will embark on a culinary adventure around the world, They will explore and make their own versions of popular wrapped and rolled foods from a variety of ethnic cuisines. This Summer Cooking Intensive will provide them with hours of hands-on engagement, expand their cultural knowledge, and build their culinary tool belt. Choose from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or all 4 days!
Monday: Latin America - Breakfast Burritos and Empanadas
Tuesday: Mediterranean - Stuffed Grape Leaves & Ravioli
Wednesday: Asia - Vegetarian Sushi Rolls and Dumplings
Thursday: Eastern Europe - Cabbage Rolls and Pierogi
Notes to parents:
- Schedule is 9:00-2:30 daily.
- You can drop your child off for this fully supervised 5 1/2-hr cooking workshop.
- The age range is flexible. If you have a question about your child who is a bit older than 11 or younger than 6, please contact us.
- You can register your child for the entire intensive (Monday - Thursday) or select 1, 2 or 3 of the 4 days. Please indicate preferred days in the form below.
$110 per student daily or $410 for all 4 days. (Save $30 when registering for the whole intensive). Each student will also receive a youth sized apron to keep.
