Kids Cooking Workshop - Handmade Pasta

  • Teaching Table 475 Sterling Place Brooklyn, NY USA (map)

Fettucine. Cavatelli. Farfalle. Pappardelle. Orecchiette. Linguine. Strozzapreti. If your child likes pasta (and what kid doesn’t?), then they will love learning about it’s origins, how it’s made, and the various cuts and shapes in this full-day kids cooking workshop. Junior chefs will spend their day-off from school making pasta from scratch, starting with various types of dough — egg, spinach, naturally dyed — then making sauces to pair perfectly with their handmade pasta. They will discover a variety of pasta shapes and practice creating them. Finally, they’ll put it all together and create classic pasta dishes for lunch, topped off with homemade banana chocolate chip ice cream for dessert. Students will also assemble their own yogurt & granola parfaits for a morning snack.

Our menu may include:

  • Handmade Lasagna Bolognese (vegetarian option)
