In this summer intensive, tweens and teens will make their favorite take-out dishes from scratch. Each day will focus on a different theme and all cooking lessons and recipes include instruction on important culinary basics such as:
Kitchen safety and sanitation
Seasoning and Spices
Menu planning & improvisational cooking
Monday: Japanese (Sushi Rolls, Potstickers, Ramen Noodle Bowls, Carrot Ginger Salad)
Tuesday: Jamaican Bakery (Jerk Chicken, Spicy Beef, Vegetable Patties & Zucchini Bread)
Wednesday: Asian Take Out Favorites (Green Curry, Sesame Noodles, Summer Rolls, Bubble Tea)
Thursday: Taqueria (Tacos, Burrito Bowls, Rice & Beans, Guacamole, Salsa)

Instruction is tailored to age and cooking experience of registered participants.
Schedule is 10:00-1:30 each day.

This fully supervised 4-hr cooking workshop is a drop-off program.
For youth ages 11-16 years old.
$95 per student per day or $365 for all 4 days. Each new Teaching Table student will also receive a youth-sized apron and all recipes will be provided.
