STUDENT CANCELLATION POLICY
For single-session public classes or single days within multi-session courses:
If a student cancels 1 week or more before the class/event start time (or before receiving course materials), the student is eligible for a refund (less a 6% processing fee) or credit (100% of purchase price) towards another Teaching Table class/event.
If it is within 1 week of your scheduled class, you can transfer your class to another individual or receive the recording and materials of virtual classes digitally.
No shows cannot be refunded. Cancelling or rescheduling after the cut-off, withdrawing, or failing to attend results in forfeiting the full amount of the class or event fee. With the approval of the teacher, a student may send someone else to participate and/or receive materials.
Most, but not all, virtual classes are recorded. Please confirm in advance of class if you will be relying on the recording.
If you purchased your class on CourseHorse or through Brooklyn Brainery, our cancellation policy applies to your purchase. If you need help canceling or have any questions, please consult CourseHorse or Brooklyn Brainery.
For private events or classes:
No cancellations or rescheduling within 2 weeks of the event. This also applies to bookings using gift certificates.
If cancelling or rescheduling 14 or more days before the start time of the class/event, the purchaser is eligible for a full cash refund (less a 10% processing fee) or a credit voucher (100% of the purchase price) towards another Teaching Table class/event.
If cancelling or rescheduling 8-13 days before the start time of the class/event, the purchaser is responsible for the initial deposit plus the cost of any ingredients or materials purchased.
If cancelling or rescheduling within 7 days of the start time of the class/event, the purchaser is responsible for the full contracted amount of the private class/event.
TEACHING TABLE CANCELLATION POLICY
Teaching Table reserves the right to cancel or postpone an event or class due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or other circumstances that would make the event or class non-viable. Public class participants will be notified via email and may elect to receive a full refund, a class credit, or admission to another class, pending availability. Private event purchasers will be notified via email and/or phone and be given the opportunity to reschedule at the next available date of their choice. Except in the case of emergency or unsafe weather, Teaching Table will not cancel/reschedule a kids’ program with less than one week's notice.
